What a GRSK assessment means
GRSK e.V. (the German society for radiographic diagnosis of hereditary skeletal diseases in small animals) is a leading body for evaluating hereditary skeletal conditions — HD, ED and OCD. As an approved assessor I issue official, recognised reports that provide a reliable basis for responsible breeding.

How an assessment works
X-ray per GRSK guidelines
Imaging taken at our TGZ Bremer Schweiz or by your local vet — following GRSK positioning and labelling guidelines.
Submit images & form
Digital images as DICOM (PACS export or myvetsxl.com), plus the completed club form. For private assessments, sending the images to us is sufficient.
Assessment
Careful evaluation by Dr. Erik Diez as an approved GRSK assessor.
Report / certificate
You receive the official report — for club assessments via the respective breeding club.
Requirements for the X-ray images
- Minimum age of the dog: 12 months
- Deep sedation or anaesthesia for exact positioning
- Digital only in DICOM format (no CDs)
- Labelling: practice, date, dog’s name (per pedigree), chip & studbook number
- HD: ventrodorsal view with extended hind limbs
- ED: both elbows, two planes each (mediolateral & craniocaudal)
